RE: JBo

It might be obvious to you Adrian, but ask how many people invested heavily on JBO at the drafts thinking he's the next Pronger/Chara when he signed on in the off-season and slated to play alongside Dion Phaneuf.

The fact of the matter is that he is over-rated, in every league there is always that 1 person that thinks he's a 55-60 point guy and will overreach for him at the drafts. Yes telling you 69 games in is probably too late, but at least I can give a heads up to you guys for next season when you decide between player A and JBo to go with player A instead...

Also you're looking at the numbers solely from this season that he isn't a 40-45 point guy... 46, 42, 37, 42 for the previous four seasons tells me otherwise.

Also you maybe knowledgeable with JBo's situation, but his 85% Yahoo! owned rating, tells me that 6 out of 7 leagues people are still hanging onto him without just reasoning. I'm writing this column to let those people know that hey if you drop JBo it probably won't hurt you as much as you may think. So it might be obvious to you, but maybe not to the general fantasy hockey public. - Ryan Ma

Man I couldn't agree more with this sentence:

With head-to-head playoff hockey pools being as tight as they are, a single point here, a PIM there, and a SOG possibly could make or break your fantasy season.

I picked up Koci in the finals of my H2H last year (for $) against the Pens (outbid my oppenents by $1 that night, daily changes) he had 15 PIM that night and was the difference in winning and losing the league. - Sin Bin

Wow, JayBo isn't scoring in Calgary? Thanks for the heads up? 69 games in it isn't exactly of any use?

FYI, he isn't close to a 40-45 point guy, he has 10 in the last 40, that is even with his hot streak when Dion left and he was getting top PP time? - Adrian Keogh

Totally agree about Jaybo. On Calgary he might be worse than a 40-45 pt player. Trade him immediately. - DuklaNation
