He played a heck of a game in net for the Wild vs Flyers. Since this was my first time seeing him play I was very impressed with his fluidity between the pipes. His ability to move quickly and accurately (without pain, :) ) was very exciting to see. I would love for him to stay with the Wild. Harding can go. - buffalosoldier66

Mike, couldn't agree more with you on the sulking bit. Mason's demeanor was terrible after every goal against. As soon as one beat him, you could tell he knew he was in for a rough night. Since Hitchcock was fired, Mason has been more positive, upbeat and confident in many different areas of his game. Good stuff! - Justin Goldman

Good read on Mason. You hit a lot of good points summed up best by "What I noticed about Mason’s struggles under Hitchcock is that he simply stopped competing after a while". I follow the Jacekts closely and if you read between the lines, it sounds like a lot of the younger players quit on Hitch for various reasons. It doesn't surprise me Mason is playing better now that Hitch is gone, just kind of sad because I think he was capable of it all along and was just sulking. - Mike

Really tough to say without seeing Lehtonen yet. I have only heard things about his performances in Chicago, but I guess they were good. If I had to choose one right now I would still go with Lehtonen. DiPietro hasn't won in his last five outings, although he hasn't been terrible either. My hunch is Lehts.
