Nice article! A lot of this is obvious at first sight, but when looking back on poor decisions we often can situate the mistake somewhere in the loop. I also like the mention that plain luck can make any statistically sound decision look silly. For example, someone could draft Crosby 1st overall, and he gets a serious injury in training camp and misses the entire season. In this scenario, even guys like Drew Miller would out-produce Sid. But the correct decision was still taken. - Eric Daoust

Best Lemon-aid yet. I definitely missed out on the ooda loop at my draft and some subsequent drafts. I always do better in the later rounds...Need to apply these principles earlier. Thanks again, Brent. Joyeux Noel. Great stuff. - agentzero
