Nigel - After watching Cammalleri the last couple of years, I'm now a believer. He's legit and unless one of Crosby, Malkin or Staal gets traded, Staal won't be the "go to" guy in Pitts. He brings something different to the table than Malkin or Crosby. If anything, Malkin or Crosby (highly unlikely) goes before Staal - at least in the near future, so dealing Staal for Cammalleri is a very good deal for you. Love your reasoning with Fisher - "Why not add Penner...", that's exactly where I was coming from! I just traded Jordan Staal away in a deal that netted me Cammalleri and after 5 games I'm still waiting for Staal to cool off. As for Fisher on Team Canada talk, I think McKenzie and Duthie just wanted the opportunity to throw up that video of Carrie Underwood over and over again. I agree with you that they are both crazy if they think Fisher (0.90 PPG) is going to earn a spot on the team.
