loco - Higgins is still getting the ice time (18 mins/gp), but he's receiving the 6th most PPTOI. Unless he gets top PP minutes (Gaborik goes down, but then so does the talent), he will have a hard time cracking 40 points. In Higgins career year of 52 points, he had 25 PPP. Glencross is on a 4 game point streak and seems to be able to play with anyone. He won't get much PP time, but he'll probably out point Higgins this year. Also with Prospal and Avery around, Higgins could play as low as the third line.

Moose - Tough call on Dubinsky. I'd keep him because he contributes in many categories and he's only getting better. Unfortunately, five forwards get more PPTOI (Dub gets more SHTOI), but only Gaborik gets more total TOI amongst forwards. Dubinsky is averaging nearly four minutes more per game than last year.
Here's the start of last year in points by game for the 13 Oct games:
1,0,3,0,3,0,0,2,0,1,1,0,1 and here's his start in points by game after 9 games this year:
1,3,0,0,0,2,0,2,0 Eerily similar. Dubinsky is another year older and will even out those points. I'd keep him on my roster.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Is it time to sell him high? I know he's overshooting his points expectation, but he's also putting up decent PIMs and great faceoffs, which count in my roto league. - Mark Moosier

Thanks Russ,
Nice synopsis. Do you think Higgins will turn it around with a demotion, or is he merely a 20 goal scorer who should be dropped? Glencross is sitting on the wire and I don't want to jump ship too early, but is now the time to cut Higgins loose? - loco man

I held onto Tanguay this week...and I'll be holding onto him next week. That means at the earliest I will drop him on November 13th, or about 14 games. - Dobber
