RE: Bryz

I dunno to be honest I just don't think the Coyotes are for real... They have decent guys but I think they lack that superstar that will put up points for them in Dec/Jan/Feb so I really do see them slowing down. The thing that's going for Bryz is that he's pretty much the number 1 guy in Phx so he'll get 60-65 starts, which would give him 25-30 wins... Probably worth a flier as a middle of the range goalie like equivalent to a Quick, C. Mason, Vokoun type production.

Ryan -

Great stuff as usual. I would be curious on your thoughts on Bryz in a league that only counts wins (2 points) and SHO (3 points). Does the fact that GAA and SV% do not count make a difference in looking for a trade? - Dave Petersen

RE: Grebeshkov

I actually had him written in, but on my final read through I chopped about 5 players cause I thought the column was too long and didn't want to test you guys' reading stamina. - Ryan Ma

Glaring omission on the Edmonton squad with no mention of Grebeskov as their 2nd leading scorer (tied with O'Sullivan). A pretty amazing feat considering he's doing it all from the blue line.

Otherwise, great read, as always. - Mackie

Good article, I just got a good laugh out of this one:

"I can’t say the same for Ryan Clowe as he only has a poultry one assist in nine contests this season"

He only has one chicken assist in 9 games? ;)

Guessing you meant 'paltry' - Logan
