Good Article.

Only thing I'd like to point out is that Demitra is coming off shoulder surgery this off season so I would be a little weary of him.

Also re: Richards talk about a healthy guy who was simply snakebitten. The guy breaks his wrist, sits out for 4 weeks then comes back only to break his other wrist in hist first game back. - The Hanson Brothers

yeah for sure, none of those guys mentioned above are unknowns, but I guess what I'm trying to do is to draw your attention to them. I know Yahoo uses their draft rankings based on point totals from the previous year, so those that were injured or had low point totals dropped lower on the overall draft rankings. I just tested out the CBS mock draft, and a few of them aren't even in the top 160. Bertuzzi/Zubrus/Hecht was taken ahead of Sullivan/Richards for example. So I guess for the people out there that like playing against unknowledgeable public people, these are the guys that will help you win your league. It won't work against experts who know their stuff. - Gotlaid

A lot of keeper leagues draft off-line these days and just punch in the data when the service provider opens things up. Guess my point was that guys off your list here will flow off the board regardless. - Shoeless

or if you guys can give me a few sites that are open for drafting, I might just sign up for a few mock drafts to see what the trends are... - Gotlaid

I haven't taken part in any drafts yet. Are leagues even opened yet? I would be more than happy to do a over reaching article if you guys want to give me a few examples from your drafts that you've seen and I could compile a list of who's being plucked off way before their time and discuss whether that was justified or not. - Gotlaid

Thanks for the article Ryan - you need to see what is happening in drafts right now as a result. Lots of overreaching - you da man with the power!! - Shoeless
