Thanks for those links hawkdog.

Just a heads up, that globeandmail article was from two years ago...James Mirtle was really adamant on Twitter that this was a good signing for the Canucks.

Thanks Bondon, the globe and mail article link is actually embedded in the Canucks Army article. 2 years old but thought it was kinda cool having all those canucks dmen in the top ten!!

I am a little concerned at the length but overall I think the Canucks really needed another big solid defensive guy on the blue line, its a bonus he can put pucks in the net!

Somewhere in beautiful british columbia, Gillis is thinking...

" I dont have to do anything, we are presidents trophy winner ...back to back "

Then, few months later.."calgary did what? AVS signed who? Oilers drafted someone like Bure? Minny has gone wild and landed who? Oh what, him too?"

Gillis, "oh shit....its OK, we got Garrisson and the best goalie tandem eeevvvverr
Who needs offense! "

Hey Gillis! Stop mesmerizing the view and do something! !

Moment of terror today as I was playing a random game with the Minnesota Wild against the Canucks and I dangled the hell out of Garrison with Matt Kassian to score shorthanded lol. Just thought that was kind of funny/horrifying.

If there is one thing I learned from Tron and the Matrix, is what happens in the game, happens in real life. Eeeee gad!

There was a lot of speculation in recent weeks that if Luongo were to be traded that Huet could be a potential backup for Schneider. The speculation came to an end tonight as Huet signed a four-year deal with Lausanne HC (whatever the hell league that's in).

Contrary to popular belief, the Sedins will NOT be returning to Modo if there is a lockout. They will stay in Vancouver, because their families have already settled down in VAN.

Also, looks like the Canucks and Burrows have already begun discussions on a possible extension. It'll be interesting to see whether they can convince him to sign for less.
