I would go with Staal. Already proved to us what he can do for years to come. Last season was only an \"adjusment\".

I go with Staal too, he\'s a future franchise player...sorry he is a franchise player. He\'s solid and can only put better number than the one he showed this year.

Nash: Very good player may become a band-aid candidate (personnal feeling)
Semin: Watch out for baby attitude
Kopitar: Still got to prove what Staal has already proven.

Staal is really the front runner in this race

I have a feeling nash will be a player that every second year he puts up points, injuries though might be a problem for this guy.

Semin, I would have to agree, becomes a baby, especially around contract time.

It\'s tough KOPITAR or STAAL. Man I would like either guy. I might have to take the unknown and say KOPITAR. But STAAL is a great option aswell.

I like Staal. He has shown what he is capable of doing. I prefer Staal because of what he brings NOW and the competitive bloodlines over what the other players, mentioned, bring. My second choice would be Nash. I would probably take Kopitar over Semin.

I really think Staal is alone in this race. He proove everybody how good he is when he reach 100 pts 2 years ago. Last year was a horrible year for him. Brind\'Amour took some ice time from Staal and he miss the contribution of Stillman all year. Next year, he will came back to is 2005-06 shape. The other guys are good, but not as Staal. I will put the other players in that order : Kopitar, Semin & Nash. If Columbus can find a decent center for Nash, he will find a way to move up in the ranking... But he is still alone there and nothing look better for him. Also, he is injury prone...
