So yesterday, I proposed a deal to a buddy of mine for Crosby. Thank you to those of you that helped out to make sure I was not going crazy. But I offered Getzlaf, Semin and EJ for Crosby. He came back and said he was thinking Backstrom instead. Not sure who he wants to replace in the deal but would either of these deals work?

Deal 1:
Backstrom and Getzlaf for Crosby

Deal 2:
Backstrom and Semin for Crosby

My main concern is that Crosby was not all that much better than Backstrom last season and this season, with the concussion that has kept him out longer than anyone thought, I worry about the long term affects. Any help would be most appreciated here.
