ok. last year near the end of the season i traded b.ryan for c. anderson as my goalies were hurting me and i ended up in second falling from first. anderson played crappy at the end of last season if you remember. so trade lost.
this year ive been in first all year and a month or so ago i was up by 25 roto points. today im tied for 1st. goalies again are my problem.
im thinking of offering anderson and penner for sharp. do you think this would fly? i could then bring up enroth/rask/dubynik/holtby and spot srart them for the remainder of the season.
do tou think id have to offer more than penner and anderson for sharp?

Anderson is about as close to untradeable as a goalie can be now. He's still on leave, and a return date is unclear. Sharp has cooled off, but I can't see his owner doing this deal, which basically amounts to Penner for Sharp.

Why not just drop Anderson and do what you propose with goalies spot starting? As for Penner, he seems to have meshed a bit with Hemsky, so either hope that continues or that Penner gets traded, which could very well happen.

Honestly I don't see any of those goalies helping you out this year.

Neuvirth and Varlamov are both healthy now, so I don't see Holtby getting any games.

Enroth may get another game or two to help Miller get some rest, but that's about it.

Dubnyk.. well my Oil are dead last, so this could hurt far more than help.

Rask would be the only option, but he's been so bad on the spot starts lately that I'm not convinced this is the answer either.

You may have to give up a bit more to get a real starter with quality stats. Looks like you have a strong RW, so try dangling one of them for a goalie? Voracek seems like the prime candidate since his current production is the lowest.
