Hi guys,

Just made a bunch of trades and currently have Green, Doughty and Yandle on defense. Now, I don't mind keeping 2 as part of my 8 keepers, but not 3.
Team in sig.

I have them ranked : Green, Doughty, Yandle, but might make more sense to trade Green who's got the name recognition factor.

Basically trying to use a 9th keeper to upgrade the other 8.

Who would you trade ? And what would you expect in return ?

I like where your heads at on this one as you do have 9 formidable keepers. I would move the two with the least value for something more...so Gaborik+Yandle...should net you a fine return.

Target a team who has crappy D keepers and you should get all of Yandle's value. I see what you're saying about Green's name recognition but even with his name he's having a down year and it will be hard to get top $$$ for him. Yandle on the other hand is smoking hot this year so someone should bite on him...

If I were to package those two (Gaborik+Yandle) I would expect a lot in return. Here are a few guys I would target:

Backstrom (WAS)
Parise (+ draft pick???)
Perry (+ draft pick???)
The Sedin's (maybe a tad high, but with that package you should be able to work something out)

You get the idea here, you want elite talent in return...but you should target a guy who has slim pickings on D to maximize your return.
