how does this sound, my Letang for his Carlson plus a second round pick.... just bouncing ideas off of you guys, would appreciate any input.

Keep Letang, we know Carlson is pretty darn good but is he going to be as good as Letang? Letang is a much safer bet going forward and will continue to get better.

I am probably just panicking a bit but.....he hasnt done much lately....is going dry.... can he keep up his pace year in and year out.

I need to try and make my forwards stronger next year too...picks might help me out.....again just bouncing ideas out there.

That's all well and good but if you do trade Letang he has much higher value than that. Look for Matt Duchene type players in return.

I'd keep Letang as well. I suppose it depends on who you think you're getting with that pick, but it seems like Carlson would be tough to protect (fits in with Subban and McBain as fringe guys).
You're better off banking on a bounceback season from Voracek than giving up a solid D keeper. Keepers: Ryan, Getz, Giroux, Neal, Voracek Lidstrom, Letang, McBain or Subban Rinne

Good point, I dont think anyone is going to part with a potential 80 point fwd for a 60 point d man.... a hard sell...might cost me picks too....just trying to find a way to get stronger.... it seems my forwards are holding me back .... for the moment at least.
