Hey all. I'm currently in 9th place and no hope for the playoffs. I'm in a limited keeper league and honestly I think I didn't fair too badly given the circumstances.

Now I know I technically overpaid but I think that selling high on Gagne and Crawford make it worth while. Kovy is a buy low candidate for sure and as bad as NJ was I think they'll bring it around by the end of the year or at least next year when Parise is back. Plus, Kovy/Parise/Zajac (I wanted them together). Lids is retiring and Green is my keeper anyways. Ribeiro was certainly where I overpaid in my opinion.

I think you won the deal as well, and by a large margin. With only 6 keepers a lot of players you gave up are just window dressing, well done.

what I really liked about the deal is that you acquired two keepers without giving one up. So instead of most trades where this happens (EXAMPLE):

Before someone has Crosby, Semin, Green , Carter, and Lundqvist as their keepers. Most people do a deal where they trade Carter and Semin for D. Sedin. So their keepers become Crosby, Sedin, Green, Lundqvist, and maybe their fringe keeper (Like James Neal).

You didn't do that. You now have 6 VERY good keepers. One thing this trade now allows you to do is upgrade one of your keepers without downgrading one of them. So if you did a trade with Stastny/Kovalchuk and get a better person (Lets say you get Crosby). You therefore improve your keeper on Kovalchuk, and the stastny part wouldnt be kept anyways. Great trade.
