I just don't see him being irreplaceable. Peverley/Steen/Grabner -- whatever. Unless you've got to decide on keepers at this moment, I'd wait and see if Mueller can regain some value for you. I don't think you're losing much with that approach.
Problem was probably the wrong choice of word, but the fact is that a young guy on a hot streak in any type of keeper league is usually a hot commodity, especially if he's on an up-and-coming team, like the Isles are.

If you wait too long for Mueller to come back, Grabner might be gone, and the opportunity to start off on the "ground floor" will have vanished.

I don't have a problem with picking him up. I put my waiver priority in and I'll drop Colin Wilson in the meantime. My keepers don't have to be in until the end of the playoffs if I recall correctly.

So unless someone else with a higher waiver priority wants to pick the kid up I'll have him.
I'm just wondering in the long term if he'll be someone that is worth while to actually put on my keeper list, and see if he develops as the Isles do.

Bottom line is I'm not making any keeper decisions yet. Mueller is still on my IR and if he sees time this season and lights it up again I may trade him or even keep him still.

All excellent points. I appreciate the help guys. if anyone has anymore insight i'm really grateful for it.
