Hey Guys,
In a limited keeper pool (4 players) where categories for players are : G, A, +/-, PPP, SOG, and GWG's. I have Stamkos, Lundqvist and Kovalchuk already decided and Marleau on my team as my possible 4th. Other managers however are all willing to part with Stastny, Toews, Nash or M. Richards for what I consider fairly little (Marleau and a late round pick in the upcoming draft meaning either 3rd forward or 4th defenceman). Is it worth acquiring any of the following or just stick with Marleau? Thanks of the help!

Richards and Toews are nice, young returns on an aging (and struggling) Marleau. If he wasn't a LW I'd move him. However, playing on that wing raises his value. So... I haven't help you out here too much. If anything, I'm hoping to get more hits and responses on this thread so that we can both get a read on Marleau. Are his glory days done or is this merely a slump?

In a limited keeper I think I would take any one of those players listed for Marleau and a late round pick.
The tough part comes in choosing which one.
I would probably lean more towards Richards or Stastny.

Oh, and welcome to the boards!

I think I'd take Stastny. The Avs score in bunches, and although Duchene is #1 there, Stastny is #1B.

The Flyers balance things out so much that Richards will be held back a bit.

Goal: Luongo, Holtby

That's a good start in the goals and shots categories, getting Nash to replace Marleau would cement you as a top-level guy on those cats (PPP would not change regardless of the player), this would also help (by default) the GWG category. That would leave you with A and +/- to fill in.
