Maybe the Charley Horse they initially said was nothing (that has kept him out almost a month) was actually a groin injury. A DTD/IR Mid to Lower body Week to Week/Practiced twice but won't take the flight injury.

This guy is the worst. An embarassment of riches as far as talent goes but an embarassment to have on your team. Washington was smart in only signing him for the one extra year. That's low risk even though the tag was 6.7 mil.. still less than Brian Campbell or Chris Drury.

In retrospect, I think Eric Fehr scores 30-35 goals in 2013 on the first line with Backstrom/Ovechkin.. and more importantly, plays all 82 games. And Semin by that time is toiling in Nashville wearing cowboy boots and injures himself line dancing at a Kenny Rodgers show.

I hope he's not developing one of those calcified Jagr bruises. I gambled and traded Joe Thornton for him and a waiver pick two weeks ago. Thank God Thornton pretty much sucks.

Pretty soon he'll be playing sledge hockey in the special olympics. Too bad he doesn't have the heart for it.
