That kid has got some wheels. Just watched him play in Halifax against the Mooseheads. When he wants to turn it on, he can move. He also made some great passes tonight.

That being said, many of his shifts were "blah" as he looked very disinterested. The kid looked like he had all the talent in the world, but his heart wasn't in it. If he ever gets the motivation, he will be a superstar. But I expect a few more years between junior/minors to let him mature.

If he ever makes it consistantly in the NHL i truly believe he'll need to be on a team with lots of experiance and winning atmosphere(The Isles better change quick). Needs to be taken under a veteran's(Russian?) wings. See a Detroit (as that type of team) etc. Sad thing is what class organization would take a chance on him. It took 3 Rounds for even the Isles to take the risk.

Kabanov scored two goals tonight and now has 11 points in 9 games.

A goal and two assists on Friday night. Now 14 points in 10 games.
