Yes. You don't do cap leagues?

Good lord no. I'm great at math and have no problem with the nuances, in fact I think it's a really cool wrinkle but I absolutely refuse REFUSE to pay the price for the stupid ass contracts that NHL GMs give out. It's something that irritates me to no end as is so the last thing I want to do is have to look at some albatross contract on my roster.
Count me out of this one. I would love to do a league with you guys though. I'm already in a few leagues with Shake and he's pretty kick ass, would be awesome to get in with some of the other "giants" here at Dobber.

haha. Fair enough though man. I'm not in a single keeper which is non-cap so I guess I'm just accustomed to it. |

See the problem isn't drafting them it's when the go to free agency and sign them. It's bad enough having to watch someone like Kovalchuk sign somewhere like New Jersey so the last thing I'd need to deal with is having his ****ing contract ruin my day too.
I'm certain it's an acquired taste but not a taste I'm looking to acquire.

Off-topic but I can't post in the asg draft thread - are you following the asg rules as far as 3 tenders before rd 10, etc.?
And as team staal are you drafting from his perspective or just general team perspective? Because I saw one earlier today where he did staal perspective and took skinner with the 1st pick, etc. |

HAHAHA! My resolve is too strong to be broken on this issue. I'd love to do an auction league where we the GMs determine our own player values and have escalating salaries but that's as far as I'm willing to go with cap leagues.
