I am in a keeper pool that counts defense Goals, Assists, Plus/Minus, and Penalty Minutes.
How would you rank Luc Bourdon, Marc Staal, and Ian White?

White actually has experience and was pretty effective last year...26pts and a +8. White is soon to be 23 and once the Leafs can unload Kubina, he will be the QB of the 2nd PP unit (if McCabe / Kaberle ever get off the ice) He showed some creativity and, playing in a hockey crazy market, played well under preasure.
If you have to wait 5 years for Bourdon and 3-4 years for Vlasic, why not take White? I don\'t see the point in holding onto players for 4-5 years HOPING they develop into prime time point producers, it seems too long to wait, when you could have a 33 - 40 pt producer next year... |

Fantasy-wise, White\'s stuck in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Yep- as are most of Toronto\'s young blueliners. There\'s a good discussion on this in the Stralman thread.
Anyways, Staal is going to be an offensive beast. Just watch. Vlasic, not so much. I still like Bourdon the best in terms of offensive production, but his two-way play isn\'t going to be anywhere near as sound as Staal\'s. Not that that matters in a pool. |

I think Bugg was talking about Marc Staal... but I thought didn\'t have such a huge upside.
I am little confuse here....:silly:
