Riding hot FA pickups to good results has been my modus operandi for a few years but for some reason this year I am second guessing the value of Ribs and Lupul down the stretch. If they keep producing at this rate, I happily keep them but if they are soon to fall back then I might be best to try and sell them hot.

Any thoughts on these two?

I think Ribeiro will continue for the most part.

I think Lupul will continue to show promise but continue to be streaky. 4 goals in 2 games and no points the next 4, etc.

Do you know what is annoying about you mbissanti? You allows are karma deserving when my karma gun is firing blanks. I think I owe you about 10 or so.

I had pretty much decided after my post that I should be looking at options other than Lupul and you pretty much confirmed that. The FA options aren\'t there at the moment - although D Brown has some attraction as a replacement piece should I be able to package Lupul for an upgrade somewhere. Starting to skulk around for something I can get for Lupul and Kubina.

I think Lupul will hit 65-75 points for the year. I do expect Ribeiro to keep it up. The tricky thing is Ribeiro is on his team\'s first line while Lupul is with a top 6 that is very dangerous.

I know Lupul is a RW but Gagne\'s return may halt his value a little (especially since he may be taken off the top PP unit).

I\'d deal Lupul for a need and pick up Brown.

well slid an offer of Lupul and Kubina for Briere - he needs D and RW help and overcooked at center. Doubt he would do this but stranger things have happened.

Staal, Briere, Marleau, Ribiero? That\'s a pretty scary group you\'ve got at C now. Might want to try to flip one of em for a winger though. Ribs probably has the best trade value since he\'s been hot IMO.
