Default Pominville vs Roy

I really need to add a great young D to my team to have a chance to win my pool next year (Keeper: 1pt/goal, 1 pt/ assist). My offense is very strong so I can shop some fowards. I would like to get Bouwmeester or Pitkanen (I know he\'s band-aid but he\'s great). To get one of them I would probably have to shop one of my Buffalo players (Their value is high right now, and my opponents want them). Which one should I include in that trade, Derek Roy ( With Drury or Brière or both gone, is value will rise as his ice time) or Pominville (he\'s a scoring machine but with Brière gone...)? I think I should keep Pominville. What are your thoughts on this one.

Thanks

I would keep Roy, but goldfish makes a good point.

I really believe Briere makes Pominville\'s points, whereas Roy makes his own points.

Yes I agree with both of you but Staal is already drafted and the owner practically won\'t let him go for Kopitar so you imagine what ridiculus price he\'s asking for...Way to much for me. For Letang, he is my first choice for next draft but I only draft 15th overall (I have done 1 bad trade this year and my 1st rd pick was involved. Shame on me)...Letang won\'t be there at 15th. I\'ll try to get a better drafting spot by offering Rolston or Demitra, we never know. If Letang is gone i\'ll try for Russell or Franson, they are the closest to Letang on what\'s left, even Kindl was drafted last year.
Thanks

Keep Roy, with briere gone, pominville production gonna drop, and roy will continue to play with vanek and afinogenov, and both of them are young and gonna produce for a long time...If you just look at who got the best offensive tool, roy win easily, so keep derek roy and trade pominville

i agree that roy is the better talent but if your league distingushes between position ie c rw instead of just fwd i might be inclined to keep pominville. reason being is the league wide depth at center as compared to rw. but if it really comes down to it and you need to make the trade, myself i would be going after Shea Weber before either Bouwmeester or Pitkanen if you dont already have him
