Default Did I make the right move (James Wisniewski)?

So upon hearing that my Canadiens have acquired James Wisniewski from the Islanders I logged on to my fantasy league and dropped my recently acquired Ryan Suter for him.

Should I have kept Suter and dropped Shattenkirk?

both Suter and Shattenkirk will out produce Wiz. Pick up suter if he's still available.

Part of me really wanted this message to be posted by the Canadiens GM.

Suter and Shatts over Wiz for sure...provided they stay healthy...which is more likely than the Wiz staying healthy!

My thinking was that he'd put up more hits (which I need) than Suter and not be that far off in points playing in Montreal, hopefully revitalizing the Habs PP.

I personally would have kept Suter.

Since the Wiz is now a Hab, anyone have any thoughts on Subban's role going forward? I'm thinking that he may get sent back to Hamilton.

You made the right move. Suter might be a good real life player, but he's only really above average in one category; assists. No goals, no PIMs, not much on the PP, so-so +/-. Wisniewski should be close to Suter in every category, and although he sin't spectacular, he's going to a team that is in need of a replacement for Andrei Markov. In fantasy hockey opportunity is just as good as raw talent, and he's just been given a big boost in opportunity. It's your 4th defenseman so why not roll the dice? If he clicks on the PP then you're golden.

wtf...easily would rather have Shattenkirk over both...but definitely MTL traded for Wisniewski to run their top PP unit which will bode great for him points wise and far better than Suter who barely shoots the puck, doesn't have the sameoffensive skill, and is on a brutal offensive team in Nashville...I think it was a good move
