Big if in terms of a great career. MDZ has never been anything defensively. He got away with it all his Jr career and b4. This is the big leagues. No guarantees he even becomes adaquite.

If you want to take a chance in a big Dynasty League I wouldnt be paying much

He really needs time in the AHL to get some confidence and learn a better defensive game against players who won't burn him on every shift. I'm hoping they send him down soon if they plan on scratching him often.

That's what the Rangers get for passing on Fowler and taking Dylan McIllrath...worse case if they were that confident in Del Zotto they'd end up like St. Louis with Pietrangelo-E. Johnson duo

I might add Im a huge fan of Dylan McIllrath. Hes going to be a nice shutdown defenceman. If MDZ somehow develops his game they'll be a nice pairing for years.

Sounds a bit like Cam Barker.
