I am prepared to give it a go. Since we don’t really have time to get organized on a draft (it didn\'t seem to happen here) and there are only a few of us (four maybe?) I suggest that we simply all pick players and submit them at roughly the same time tomorrow (so we can’t cheat off each other lists). Players willed be owned by more then one GM.

I proposed we stick with the original: 5 forwards, 3 d-men and 1 goalie. But you cannot have more 3 players from any one nation.
Goal = 1 point
Assist = 1 point
Wins in Regulation/Overtime/Shootout = 2 points
Shootout Loss: 1 point
Shutouts: An additional 2 points on top of the original win

Post your roster on December 26 at 11 am – eastern time. If you are worried about people copying your list don’t do it until the last minute. Late entries will be excepted for 15 minutes or so. (honour system guys - don\'t cheat and look before you put your roster in)

I am open for other suggestions on the rules but since we are running out of time unless we get a better idea posted here before midnight (eastern time) I say we go with it.

im down... i would have preferred to have no mulitple ownership of players... but i guess this is the best we can do, considering puck drop in is 16 hours.. i also like the no more than 3 players from a nation rule..

Well suddenly everyone shows up! Hah!

I\'m down with whatever format we chose for sure.

Next year I hope we can do a draft format but this will work in a pinch.

I actually really like the proposed pool rules. I say we go with them as well. I\'ll work on my list tonight and put it into a file before I go to bed so I can just post it in the morning. Between the game and regular boxing day activities (50 people coming over to my house tomorrow!) I won\'t have much time to work on it.
