Since Markov's injury, I haven't grabbed a 4th defenseman. I'm currently considering dropping Jokinen though, as he hasn't been making a compelling argument to stay on my roster.

Robidas seems to be the best available blueliner, or perhaps Cam Fowler. Should I drop Jussi and go back to a 4th defenseman, or leave that roster spot empty and carry on with the extra forward?

Well the one thing about a D guy is that he will play for you every game he is available - that 9th F probably doesn't get into your starting lineup nearly as often as Robidas will. I just dumped Lupul for Robidas but I was down to 2 D guys with 4 spots so it really made sense and Robidas is fairly cruising right now.

I would think about Fowler before I went to Robidas for this one. I still think Jokinen will turn it around, but you can't argue with Shoeless' point that a 4th defensemen will get in your lineup every time they play.

I'm certainly aware of the fact that my extra forward is only getting about 75% utilization.

Given that it's only a semi-keeper, I'm not sure Fowler is the go-to guy. Robidas is likely to carry a better +/- and more PIMs down the stretch, as well as similar point totals, no?

Also, I'm still keen on Jussi's abilities, and reluctant to drop him. I could possibly drop Tanguay instead, but he seems to be on a bit of a roll of late.

No way I drop Tanger over Jussi really Jussi only has one good year under his belt and Tanger is having a solid comeback year in CGY

I agree with your thoughts on Robidas I just like to take chances and I like that Fowler kid.

My input is too late, but I'd take Fowler over Robidas in a heartbeat. Not at the end of December but right now.
