If the Caps as a whole would turn it around that would be nice. Green and Ovi especially.

meh....

Green doesn't suck... the Caps scored 11 in 9 games... that is slumping, not sucking.

That said, in fantasy terms this is painful to watch... especially after the drafting thought process of "Sure they'll get bounced early in the playoffs, but this pool only counts regular season and the Caps will score, like, 500 goals this year so it is time to load up!"

I still like Green's chances for 60pts... but when you start the season hoping for 80 that can be a bit of a let down.

I got him 10th overall in a keeper, figured it was a great pick as most mock drafts had him going before then. Lotsa guys in my pool are newbies and the thought of drafting a dman that early to them seemed retarded. But I wasn't drafting any defenceman, I was drafting Mike Green. Fantasy wise, he has been the most productive player in comparison to his position the last two years.

Now I'm getting a bunch of "I told you so" comments from a bunch of guys who don't know half as much hockey as me and it sucks.

On a slightly related topic I traded Thornton, Lucic, and Bryzgalov for Ovechkin and Weber, with a Ribeiro pickup on the waiver wire.

I'm tired of hearing about how I got FLEECED in the deal. :s

That is sweet deal (assuming you have other options in net). Bah, I'll lay money that you get the last laugh.

nice work. Many props for pulling that off. Having Malkin and Ovy will get you a win many times in the future.
