+/- is a bitch in my pool, especially for dmen. So each of Hillen, MacDonald and Hamonic is available. Any of these guys worth grabbing in a keeper pool like mine (in sig) - i.e. where we don't have room to carry much dead weight (we start 20 of 26 players). Another guy available is Holos.

MacDonald is an NHL D-man. He can play in his own end. I'm not so sure his offensive upside is more than 20-25 points. Could be 15-25 points.
Hillen, should be considered to be in the early part of his prime. He's not really a prospect. Unfortunately, he's not managed to get himself established. He's supposed to be an offensive D-man. (I foolishly wonder if his agent should insist that he needs moved up to the wing. That as a D-man that he's a tweener). Opportunity is excellent for him right now and he's failing to establish himself, to the point that he's spending time in the stands when the Isles are playing horrifically. Hamonic. My jury is still out. I believe he'd be best served with at least a season in the AHL. He had one nice points season in Jr. His final NHL role has not yet been determined, in my opinion. He's only 20. I like his PM. Generally this shows that a guy competes hard. He's the right size and was a decent draft pick. Dobber gives him a high end upside of 48 points. So... it's probably fair to wonder that when he breaks in as a regular he threatens for 20-25 points. Fantasy owners may take a liking (trade value) as he's young and unknown. None are overly interesting, particularly if you have +/-. It sucks to be an Isle, for the time being.

None of those guys are worth owning in your pool. Hamonic intrigues me but only in DEEEEEP pools where he can sit on your farm for like 4 years until the Islanders are popping.

Thanks both (and Rep provided). Same goes for Holos?
Other views welcome.

Is Holos even in the league still? Thought he got sent down. Certainly not hitting boxscores recently. Definitely not worth even a flyer.
