Would this be a good time to buy low on him, or does his 40+pts window is now closed (for next and following years I mean) ?

I don't think that window is closed at all - he is a young D and has the talent. The problem is the team he plays on seems content to go with no offense whatsoever...

This year, 40pts might be a stretch but he can do way better than that for many years to come!

I'd also be curoius to know what people think his upside is, as he was just offered to me in return for Bogo today.
Would 40-45 be his ceiling, or can he really go higher? Will he have competition for PP time in the years to come?

I finally dumped Suter as a keeper - he is as solid and steady a 42 point guy as you will get and yes likely has upside, but in Predville they are so damn deep in D prospects, I just don't see him doing a heck of a lot more.
Predators excell at scoring a goal or two and winning with relentless D - I don't think we are safe in projecting much more production for Suter - I would rather have Bogosian and wait him out.

Agree with the group here.
I would also add that, with Suter in his situation in NSH, he is so good at the defensive aspect of the game, his offence takes a backburner to the other, maybe less all around blueliners. Dan Hamhuis suffered the same fate, and willingly took the same situation in VCR. So yes, from a fantasy perspective, I would be a bit leery of Suter, despite being a very good NHLer

Thanks all for the input!
It's for my second league. It's points only too, we play 9F,6D,2G weekly, we keep 30, draft 10. Here's my D squad : Alzner Barker Bieksa Burns Demers Foster Greene Jovanovski Kindl Kuba Sanguinetti Taormina White So I think Suter would be a nice add for this team.

After seeing that squad of D... I may lean toward doing it. You must be loaded upfront!!
