I bought low during his concussion spell and don't regret it. He's cold now but is inevitably going to heat up. Yeah, I know about his "conditioning and motivational issues" but he hasn't been playing terribly, not great either but not awfully like some people pretend.

I havn't seen Doughty play since prior to his concussion this season but just have a quick glance at his ice time, he is playing close to 30 minutes a game every game. I am wondering if he is coasting in the offensive play as he is being forced to log some tough, heavy minutes that he is conserving energy where he can.

Any seen him play lately, any thoughts?

I'm mulling a tough decision myself. I just traded for Kesler and i'm pretty thin at forward and like Kesler to keep trending up. I'm in a non-keeper league and was just offered Doughty for Kesler straight up. We have limited waiver picks of which i have one left and am leaning toward Ray Whitney.

My gut tells me to jump all over Doughty but we're nearing the half season mark and 7 points playing 30 minutes a night is like John Erskine territory.

Very torn on what to do. Obviously if it was a keeper league it would be a no brainer. To further complicate things my top 3 D are Green, Yandle and Erhoff who is freshly concussed and then a big drop off to Colaicovo and Greene. We start 3 D so one of those guys must play now.

The timing seems right but I was really ready to hang my hat on Kesler the rest of the way.

3 point night for Doughty so far. Let's hope this sticks and he's back for good boys!!!!
