Hi Guys,
I was wondering if Bryzgalov as the potential of becoming a #1. Giguère will be a free agent this summer. Can he be a starter at some point in his career? I have him in my keepers pool. Should I hold on to him or trade him. Tx, Gate |

Potential? Yes. Will it happen in the near future? I don\'t think so.
Given his solid play this playoffs, I would bet (not the house, but maybe a tool shed) that Giguere stays in Anaheim. You can also bet that, given his value for the money, that Bryzgalov will not be trade bait. So both keepers stay in Anaheim (for next season, at least). All season long, it\'s been coach Carlyle\'s philosophy that it\'s Giguere\'s job to lose, and that\'s probably not going to change. Bryzgalov did get in for a period of time when Giguere was slumping and played decently, but as soon as he dropped the ball once Giguere was back in. So the answer is, Bryzgalov will only become the regular starter in Anaheim if Giguere goes elsewhere or plays himself out of the starter spot.
