McCabe is quietly heading to UFA status for next season as his contract is up with Florida, and there has hardly been any news regarding this. Though I expect the rumor mill will start to churn come trade deadline.
I'm wondering with a semi rebuild happening in Florida what might happen to McCabe. Are chances good he will resign with the Panthers or maybe be moved at the deadline? Anyone with some insider info?

No inside info just more assumptions than anything that he will be moved at the deadline or sooner along with Vokoun no reason at this point in FLA to do a complete rebuild!

I would also agree.... see em both leaving by deadline... lots of teams in need of mccabes abilities even tho he is the captain he isnt the direction they are going... got a good young d core that need ice time
