3. Steven Stamkos

Another game... another 3 pts and 6 SOG. Oh, just another night for Stamkos. I saw the highlights of this game and that line of Downie-Stamkos-Stlouis is just crazy. One of the goals... 2-1 with Stlouis flying down the right side with Downie to the left, Stlouis makes the pass across to Downie (who really should have shot) basically had Lundqvist sliding across to make a save yet he holds the puck and passes to Stamkos (the trailer) barrelling down the middle for an easy tip in. Thats the chemistry and confidences they have in each other.

2. Alex Ovechkin

After the whole issue with AO and Kovy (and Semin) seen laughing and having a great time after their embarrassing loss to NJ, a few feet away from Boudreau when he was addressing the media... he let his game speak for itself and broke out of a mini slump with 3 assists and 10 SOG! While he is still goalless in 6 games, if he keeps firing the puck like this, the goals will come.

1. MA Fleury

4 game winning streak and the latest included a shutout against BUF. After an ugly (ugly) start to the season, it nice to see him a his 1st shutout of the season.

Duds of the Night

No real order here, duds are duds...

Backstrom (MIN) stat line last night... 6.00 GAA and 0.786 SV%. Anyone who has him probably will lose their goalie stats this week lol.

Entire Buffalo Sabers... not to take away anything from Fleury but going 0-5 on the PP also doesn't help.

Budaj...if hes still on your team, you probably arent in a good situation already... he can thank him for making it worse with a disgusting stat line of 3GA and .750 SV% in 36 min of game time.

I know these are fantasy oriented (which is great), but Budaj actually made some very nice saves to keep his team in the game. The Kesler goal probably shouldn't have gone in, but he wasn't to blame for the Sedin line goals (although can't remember exactly how Daniels was socred).

Its hard for a goalie to come in cold Budaj has actully been a very servicable goalie in most leagues that count only W and SO's in leagues that count GAA and SV% he still has respectable numbers and with Anderson out again he could be a solid stopgap if needed...I say this becuase I own him and he has done great for me and is up there for points amongst goalies in our league.
