The Calgary Flames have traded Henrik Karlsson to Chicago for a seventh round pick in the 2013 Draft.
Karlsson lost his job as the backup to Miikka Kiprusoff in Calgary as Leland Irving will now have the honors. The Blackhawks sent Karlsson to the AHL Rockford IceHogs where he will provide insurance to Corey Crawford and Ray Emery. The draft pick was originally the Ottawa Senators which the Blackhawks acquired in an earlier deal. Source: Chicago.nhl.com

Hawks start 3-0 on the year.
Hawks controlled this game for 1st and 2nd period, almost fell apart in the 3rd period but held on for the win. Crawford played a great game, made huge key saves to preserve the win, looked in control the whole night. Crawford looks real strong so far to start the season, seems of shaken off the playoff shakes. Hawks have beaten the Kings, Coyotes, Blues to start the year. All 3 are tough games, nothing easy so far.

Awesome. Strong on the puck, skating with purpose. Hossa has been amazing as well. Honestly no real flaws right now in the 1st 3 games. Everyone doing their job, confidence is high and can see it on the ice.

What's up with Seabrook's TOI dropping lately. Is he injured or in the doghouse?

Going into Game 4 I am confident Chicago will turn things around and win this series, but I admit I am alittle scared.
