I'm having a hard time thinking pro-rated numbers so I just go what they would produce over a normal 82 game season
![]() We will likely play on Fantrax, so I have a bunch of guys with dual eligibility. Laich, Steen, McDonald, Schwartz Cammalleri have C/LW while Kane, Briere, Smith and Little have C/RW and Clowe, Lupul, Nyquist, Silfverberg and Downie have LW/RW. I have options

I wouldn't expect a huge jump in Bolland's scoring....he's been given chances before in the top 6 and he's never really run with it. He's a great 3rd line center, and he can score good points from that position.....but I don't know if he'll ever be a true scorer in the NHL.

With Bolland playing 2C, lines 3 and 4 are looking terrible.
Kruger, Stalberg, Bickell/Frolik Mayers, Shaw, Bollig Pirri?? Hayes?? Beat some of these busters out!

I never understand why they don't try Frolik at C, I believe that was his natural position?
I know every Hawks fan seems to hate him but he is misused in CHI imo.

At Center? 33% faceoffs last year and he's never stood out as someone with good passing abilities. No thanks. Frolik skates well and gives a good effort but that is about it.

Second day of camp and the lines were:
Carcillo Toews Hossa Sharp Bolland Kane Bickell Shaw Stalberg Bollig Mayers Frolik Keith Seabrook Oduya Hjamarlsson Leddy Brookbank Stanton Rozsival From Quennville: “I like the way the lines are right now,” Quenneville said. “We talk about it all the time. ‘What do you think of this or maybe put this guy here?’ I still think the lines we’re seeing right now, it’s not etched in stone and that’s how we’re going to start, but they could be like that. But we’re not the type of team that just sits with the same lineup if things aren’t productive.” Marcus Kruger was out with the flu and the Hawks called Jimmy Hayes from Rockford. Brandon Pirri and Brandon Saad were called up yesterday. Marian Hossa has indicated his head is " clear" and stated that he took a " big hit" on accident from Bollig the other day and felt pleased that he passed the test so to speak.

Stalberg will get a shot to win a spot on the PP this season. http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/blac...-on-power-play
He has the size and has the abilty. May want to bump him up a smidge in your fantasy rankings.

I really would have liked the Hawks to pass on the Brookbank or Roszival signings (one would have sufficed, not both) and give Stanton a chance on the big roster. He's really passed Olson and Lavin down on the farm as the tough minutes guy and I think he could have skated as the #6 this year in Chicago.
I'm also excited to see if Carcillo will stick in the top 6 again this year. He looked pretty good there last year with Kane and Hossa and it's nice to see him get to show the talent he actually has instead of just punching people.

I agree!!
They sent Stanton down today, along with Brandon Pirri and Jimmy Hayes.
