It's funny because I'm currently replying to a fellow member regarding a possible Markov for Karlsson (opposite from you). It might surface on the boards, we'll see.

At a quick glance, I like it for you. You get a top 3 (or 4 to some) and the arguably the leading vezina (vs. Thomas). You gave up a lot of potential (and depth) but significantly improve in the positions you needed most.

Thanks GMG, I can tell you that the Markov/Karlsson guy isn't my deal as it came as a last minute add on. I think the depth I lost can be replenished through smaller trades and ww pickups. Just missed out on Jones but Yip is still there so I'm monitoring those minutes. Lupul is available too but I'm leery of dropping anyone for him at this point.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the deal and have been looking at my new lineup all night

Just got offered Rafalski and Dubinsky for Hemsky and Gagner for this team, what do you think?

Hey guys, just thought I'd share what I've done with the advice you gave me from this audit.

Team Before:

C: E. Staal, Lecavalier, Zajac, (Berglund, J. Staal)
RW: Giroux, Voracek, (Okposo, Hemsky)
LW: D. Sedin, Ryan, (A Kostitsyn, Smyth)
D: Karlsson, Subban, Yandle, Martin
G: Rinne, Ward, (Niittymaki)

Team Now:

C: Malkin, Kopitar, Zetterberg (Zajac)
LW: Sedin, Nash (S Kostitsyn)
RW: Voracek, Giroux (Hemsky, Okposo, Frolik, Recchi)
D: Carlson, Subban, Yandle, Goligoski (MA Bergeron, Markov)
G: Hiller, Rinne (Halak)

Bit of an overhaul I guess but I feel like I've turned my team into a force for years to come. I used your advice and started making moves using my prospects and draft picks. It worked wonders as I think I have acquired solid depth at each position and youth at that.

Thanks again for your help, it clearly was worth it!!

So the real question now becomes; when can I get myself one of these audits?

Looking good Killers! Go win that title

As for MD - you can definitely be put on the list, although I haven't been covering them as much as I'd like to lately and there are some very patient members still waiting for their audits.

I'm patient, just slot me in at the back of the line and I'll work my way forward. Much appreciated Gates.

I think the best part of these audits is there are always little nuggets of information that anyone can cull so it's as good as any article on strategy because it shows you the practical applications of strategy theories.
