I'm not sure I like the deal. Obviously it's a good idea to ship Gomez outta town (why he is on anybody's team is beyond me), but Lucic is a really underrated multi-cat producer. He got the shaft real hard last year with injuries and so on. He's healthy this year and showing why the Bruins love him so much.

This trade is really Carter for Lucic, as the other players in the deal are pretty much fluffer... Arnott is on a team that can't buy a goal, and Kuba will only be seeing second unit PP time behind Gonchar and Karlsson. The Flyers are so deep up front that Carter isn't guaranteed more than 60 points. He could go higher, but no more than 70.

Keep Lucic, he'll probably end up with roughly the same amount of points as Carter if he stays healthy. And do yourself a favour and drop Gomez, there has to be a better option on the waiver wire.

Doesn't say what the starting positions are but that being said Lucic would likely finish below 30-30 (more in 25-25 range with nice PIM's)..Carter should hit 35-35...i'd go with Carter
