Bit of a follow up to an earlier post, how do folks think this works out? I'll hopefully be moving Turco + Nash for Heatley very soon so disregard that in my sig.

I had initially offered Lundquist + Briere for Sharp + Selanne and this is what he countered with saying he needed help on D. I'm not really all that in love with losing Goli but I think Briere makes a nice upgrade and he won't move Giroux. Is there a counter here?

I'm not a fan of Briere at all and would much rather have Sharp...Goligoski is a solid defense option on a good team...and Lundqvist is solid but with Backstrom and Bryzgalov already in tow I rather stick with what I had or repropose Bryzgalov/Backstrom and Goligoski straight up for Lundqvist...I don't think this deal helps you much overall when you're already in net and up the middle and losing Sharp's LW eligibility and a solid defense option...I wouldn't do that deal as is

Not crazy about the deal at all. Lundqvist is a workhorse on a decent team and Briere/Sharp cancel each other out. Don't do it.

I personally think the GM getting lundy wins. But I don't think you need a tier 1 goalie when you already have Bryz/Backstrom. Why don't you go for a Ward or Elliot.. even Roloson? Someone just to supplement the goalies you have without giving up on too much offense.

Ya I'm thinking it's not a bad idea just to have a 3rd goalie spot to rotate around and pick up a G on the nights I need one, FA has a couple of options. So no Lundquist makes sense.

I was thinking about countering with Alfie for Goligoski and see if he bites.

I'd do goligoski and hemsky if neccessary for alfie...selanne and/or hejduk will eventually crap out or go down with injury over a full 82 and I wouldn't want to have to rely on Hemsky as my #1 RW...Alfie acquisition is a solid move

He countered back with Alfie + Zetterberg for Goli + Sharp.

My initial thought is to hit accept, seems like a pretty solid deal. I can grab Kronwall off of FA and drop someone else.

I countered back with Hemsky + Goli for Alfie + Zets but I doubt he'll take it.

Zetterberg is better than Sharp..and Golgoski for Alfie is plenty...don't be greedy should've accepted the first deal..especially when you can just turn around and add Kronwall

Ended up doing Sharp + Goli for Zetts + Alfie. Thanks for the help guys!
