Hey guys, I've got 2 offers for Edler. Keep in mind that this is a salary capped keeper. Edler is signed for 3(including this yr) at a reasonable 3.25. The other 2 are up after next year.

Here are the deals. Edler for EJ and a 4th round pick or Edler and Carle for Myers, Bogosian and a 5th round pick.

Should I accept one or stick with Edler, who I love?

I tend to agree. I have some concerns about Bogo however, because he's behind Buff and Enstrom on the depth chart. But it's possible Buff could play forward again in the future, so who really knows...

Stick with Edler you will not be dissappointed. His per dollar production will be great for three years. I wouldn't want anything to do with EJ right now, i cant get a read on how he will turn out; could be a 20 pt a year guy who is sounds defensively or he could end up being a 35-40 pt guy, I cant decide so I am staying away for now. As for Myers and Bogosian its a better deal but I still dont think I would pull the trigger. If Edler ends up putting up 60 pts (which he is on pace for) that he is worth Myers and Bogo by himself in my opinion.

Stick with Edler, cap or not. While Myers did do well last season, I am not sold yet that any of those others will be as good offensively as many seem to think. I think Bogosian seems to have a lot of potential but even then I would take Edler over him, hands down.

I didn't like the other one, so let's look at this one.

Edler (3.25, 3.25, 3.25)
Carle (3.5, 3.8)

Myers (.9, .9)
Bogosian (.9)
5th round pick.

So if you look at it, Myers and Bogo will be cheaper for the following 2 seasons, but afterwards it's around the same. Myers and Bogo should boht get around 3-4M raises, so salary isn't too much a concern.

So if you don't need the production this season, I"d want the Myers + Bogo side. Plus you get the extra pick.
