1. Claude Giroux is on pace for 90 points this year. I know this has been said many times before, but he is the most offensively gifted player on the Flyers, and in a keeper I would not trade him for any one on their team (not even Carter or Richards).

2. As mentioned in the Leafs/Preds game, the goaltending duo of Rinne and Lindback is the tallest duo in NHL history, as they are 6'5 and 6'6, respectively. I wonder what the shortest goaltending duo would have been. My guess is something involving Arturs Irbe.

4. 60% of the Habs roster is either RFA/UFA next season. Unfortunately Gomez is not one of them.

6. Today marks the first time Henrik Sedin will face Crosby since he won the Art Ross. Bylsma will be matching Crosby against Henrik...which leaves Dupuis against Daniel?

7. If Ovechkin was a captain of the allstar team, he says his first pick would be Semin.

8. How long until Sutter gets fired? The team needs a massive rebuild, starting with Iginla. I would even go as far to say that kipper should be traded for a younger goalie, but then I realized there aren't really any available, nor do i think the flames would get much for kipper considering there isnt much demand for goalies right now.

9. Some big name UFA's next year that could get traded at the deadline: Richards, Markov, Kaberle, Vokoun. I expect Semin and Bryzgalov to re-sign with their respective teams.

10. Most overrated fantasy forward? Rick Nash. Most overrated fantasy defender? Jay Bouwmeester. Nash has never eclipsed 80 points in his career (although i would put his upside at 90), and Bouwmeester is a 30 point dman with 50 point upside that you will never see in Calgary.

11. I never realized how ugly Anton Babchuk was until I saw his face on the main page.

12. The Flames essentially traded Phaneuf, Sjostrom and Aulie for Stajan, Hagman, Babchuk and Kostopolous.

13. According to the frozen pool line combos, Ovechkin plays more than 75% of the time even strength with Backstrom, with either Knuble or Semin on the other wing. Crosby on the other hand, plays with Dupuis and Kunitz 40% of the time even strength.
