Are you in a keeper league where your team could use some help?
DobberHockey is introducing a new feature: \"An Expert\'s Audit\". Based on \"Expert Eye for the Fantasy Guy\" that was done by The Talented Mr. Roto before they sold out to \'the man\' (please \'the man\'...give me millions for my site too!). Ian Fergusson penned that feature and he is back to do it again, this time for the best damn fantasy hockey site out there. DobberHockey, along with Ian\'s own blog shallowfrozenwater, will look at one team each month and work with the owner to turn things around with some long-term fixes. Suggestions will be made, weaknesses will be addressed, strengths will be solidified and at the end of the month the fantasy team will be looking good for some future winnings. The adventures will be fully documented in a monthly article: what the team looked like before, what needed to be addressed, what the team now looks like, and what needs to be done in the coming months to keep things rolling on the right path. Interested in having your fantasy hockey team \"audited\"? Here are the criterion: 1. Keeper League team. If Ian\'s going to spend a month with you, it needs to help for the long haul. It also makes the feature relevant in the summer. 2. You have been swimming in mediocrity for several years now, or your team really sucks, or you just joined an established league and feel completely buried and overwhelmed. 3. Working with Ian will remain a secret until we publish the piece on dobberhockey.com and on shallowfrozenwater. Interested? email dobber@dobberhockey.com and use the subject: Help - audit needed! B)

That sounds awesome, i\'d love to work with an expert but i dont think being a two time defending champ qualifies. good luck to whoever gets it and i can\'t wait to see the end result.
Thanks again dobbs for keeping this the most interesting and informative site out there! |

Ian did my team early last year when he was still with TMR. It was a one year league though. He\'s thorough and he\'s funny (well regarding my draft strategy he was). Nice addition to the site Dobber and welcome Ian.

This seems like a great idea. Being the winner of our league of 9 last year, I don\'t think my team qualifies.
My team might be a great story for next year if I finish dead last. Hope not anyways. Cheers to a great concept!

Another reason to come to dobberhockey. Great idea. I did take over the worst team last year over the summer so hopefully I can become a candidate for this. Definitely would help lol.

I can just see a Ramsay\'s Kitchen Nightmares situation. Owner of a team contacts Ian, Ian agrees to help, gives advice, owner doesn\'t like the advice, fights back, eventually comes to his senses, and turns it around. Wondered why he doubted the advice to begin with.

One more bit of advice since I also was lucky enough to have Ian look over my fantasy team at TMR last year:
Make sure you\'re in a league that has some active owners that are open to trades. A lot of the value Ian provides is what moves to make, especially trade packages and who to offer to other owners. If you\'re in a league where hardly anyone ever trades then most of his advice will go wasted.
