Yeah I was one of the few that voted for Cammalleri. This time next year I could very well be saying Anze but he hasn\'t proven anything to me yet (though he\'s clearly showing he\'s going to ve avery good player) I think Cammalleri is just starting to show us what he has and is going to be amazing next year).

I voted Anze because he\'s a playmaker. With Frolov, Cammalleri, Brown, etc. tending to score more goals, he\'s a go-to guy and will only get better. It\'s really tough to choose between the two, but I\'d lean slightly toward Anze.

I can\'t believe those results either. Cammalleri is a scoring machine, Kopitar only has one season under his belt. He will be smashed around next year or should be anyway. LA\'s forwards are going to be hard to target.

Lanky what do you think of O\'Sullivan and Brown???

Z, I posted this a bit ago in the \"Cammalleri\" thread in \"article feedback.\"

Quote:
I think that once frolov develops some more consistancy (he\'s been getting better at it over the past couple of seasons), he\'ll hit 80-85 points on this team. O\'Sullivan could hit anywhere from 65-90 depending on where he fits in AND how hard he tries. His training camp was far worse than ANYONE expected, and although he is still not a dud by any means, 90-100 points might be out of the question for him...

Also, I think that Cammalleri will probably stay on a line with kopitar and frolov, but if O\'Sully steps up bigtime, he could possibly replace one of them. Regardless, whoever gets stuck on the second line (odd man out) will produce a little bit less.
about brown though... this is from \'hockey\'s future\'

Quote:
Talent Analysis

Brown has a nose for the net. He uses his speed and strong skating ability to drive hard and creates scoring opportunities right on top of the goalie. When not driving to the net, Brown finds the seams in the defense and uses his excellent shot. He plays with grit and determination and will not back down from the physical play. Solid in the corners and in front of the net, Brown gives his best effort every shift and can be a scoring threat from just about anywhere on the ice, whether in a crowd or one-on-one.

Future

Brown made the NHL roster straight out of training camp. The 2003-04 season was a learning process for Brown as he adjusted to the rigors and training expectations of an NHL player. He\'s a gritty top-line scorer, very comparable to Adam Deadmarsh. Should have an immediate roster spot as the NHL club gets progressively younger.
I like the comparison to Deadmarsh for Brown, I posted this here, because it describes his play style and talent better than I could...

I think like deadmarsh, you\'ll see Brown getting 80+ish points in a couple of years. Especially since he\'ll be playing with one (or two) of Cammalleri, Kopitar, Frolov, or O\'Sullivan with Jack Johnson leading the rush... I\'d put his range in the 75-90 range after a couple of years, if he can stay healthy and play full seasons... His style of play often leads to injuries more than the finesse stlyes of play...
