I would receive Carcillo.
I would ship Osgood.

I need PIMs, he needs goaltending (badly). I still have Lundqvist, Price and Emery... however, I like having the \"back-up\" to a 42 year old on the best team in the west. Additionally, I think Osgood\'s numbers deserve more in return.
However, with Hasek back... maybe this is an ideal time to ship him.
Thoughts?

Carcillo is a monster this year. Are you in the running for top spot this year??

Osgood for Carcillo alone is a little steep, especially since Hasek couldn\'t stop a beach ball right now. I think he\'s hiding an injury or something and Detroit hasn\'t hesitated to run with Osgood while he\'s been hot. However, with your depth in goaltending, especially with Gerber falling and opening the door for Emery to take back the starter\'s job I think you\'d be looking solid even if you made the trade.

In the end, it doesn\'t appear that you would be keeping either Osgood or Carcillo for next year anyways.

you\'re going in the right direction but i\'d ask for more. throw in your worst player for an upgrade and then just sit back and smile when Hasek eventually takes the job back.
