Anyone wants to comment on \"Marcel Hossa on first line of the NYR\" ?

First line doesn\'t always means huge production. And I don\'t see Hossa as a point-per-game player, more of a streaky player who\'s good to have in two weeks in a Yahoo hockey pool.

I agree with your thoughts on Hossa--He\'s one missed back-check away from the 4th line.

I also see similar potential to a Valeri Bure, another player who was one missed back check away from the fourth line or press box. But somehow, he kept it going and put up a decent season or two. Without his injuries, he would have been a steady 70-point guy. I\'m not saying Hossa is there, I\'m just saying that is the possibility that we\'re dealing with here.

Hossa has been pretty solid overall this year, I don\'t think it\'s fair to say he is a missed backcheck away from a demotion. He has shown the ability to work with Jagr and he uses his size well. I\'d like ot see it carry over next year before I\'d think about drafting him, but there is a big amount of potential with him.
