Keeper league: points only, 2 pt goal, 1 pt assist, 15 lineup, only 2 count per forward position plus four defensemen.

This league has been going for 15 years, I am the defending champion (6 time) but its time to rebuild. The Guy with Staal has Briere, H.Sedin and A. MacDonald at center aswell but needs another d-man to truly have a shot at the title.

He has countered with Phaneuf for E. Staal but that doesn\'t help my rebuilding efforts.

I see you are looking for younger talent, but you cant be the only winner in a trade. Rolston isn\'t a very high scorer. So essentially you are trading Lidstrom for Staal. I love Lidstrom, but if this is a keeper league I could see how his value would drop just based on his age. If you really need a center, I would take the Phaneuf trade he offered because I cant see you getting such a good deal otherwise. Staal is a great forward, and he has already proven himself when he got 100pts. two years ago. He has also been a high goal scorer this season, which is worth a lot in you\'re league. I\'d suggest you reconsider his offer.
