Says that the Junior of Montreal (a team in the Quebec junior league) no longer holds Avtsyn rights. They did not protect him because they believed he was gonna play in Russia and preferred to pick other European guys for their team. The only two options for Avtsyn next year are AHL or KHL since no other junior team in Canada drafted him.

cool thanxs alot. yeah read somethng before that he probably wont make the habs this yr so it was either a junior team or AHL. so it looks like AHL it is which is a pretty good thing i would say.

yeah he does but there was alot of issues and he left them to come over. he is slated to play on this side of the world this coming season.
