Here is a good read by one of my favourite writers (Ryan Kennedy) on the Sarnia Sting's 1st Overall selection in the OHL Priority Draft - Alex Galchenyuk.

Kid is looking good. I thought I might pass this information onto anyone interested. Don't worry, I know none of you care right now but in two years' time you will DEFINITELY care.
This 16 year old looks like he's got a great tool set http://www.theobserver.ca/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=2665036

Alex Galchenyuk will finally have the opportunity to represent Team USA internationally when he joins them in the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament in August.

AG94 has been really persistent in the fact that he wants to represent USA internationally, so much so that Russia didn't even both asking him (officially) to join their Under-18 roster last April. I think his wait and persistence is paying off.

Thanks Dean.
A friend of mine that scouts said that he thought AG would be a better NHL'er (points wise) than Yakupov. Do you think so? As you can see in my signature I have Yak already. Any chance he goes back to the KHL? Also, what would be your point predictions for the 2 next year in Sarnia. Hopefully their GM is surrounding the 2 of them with some quality players for a good season. I would love for the Sting to have a great year.
