I am in the running this year and, even thought I am bias, I think I am favoured to win. It is a keeper league where you keep all your players. You need 6 d-men on your active roster and can have some others on the bench. Right now I have Gonchar, Whitney, Redden, Murphy, Bouwmeester, Mike Green and Weber (on IR). The guy who has Zubov is not in the running this year and likely out of it for next year. In 5 years of course I lose the trade. However, as long as Murphy doesn’t become one of the NHL’s top 5 d-man overnight I feel the short term gain is there to make it worth it for me.

Thanks for your thoughts guys! I think I will try a straight up offer and see where is goes (his offer was complicated by Ruutu (mine), Sharp (his) and draft picks).
