Milan Lucic, roto monster or marginally valuable filler? I know he's had injuries this year and Boston is really *****ing the bed, do I need to be worried? Obviously I am a bit concerned but with the emergence of Downie, I may be able to spare him. I loathe to sell low, but if I can get something decent for him would you recommend moving him? Or do you see a rebound from him and continuance of filling multi-cats?

Jeff Deslauriers-
Has he been basically ruined by Edmonton asking him to be the goto goalie this year for such a brutal team? I can't see how this has in any way helped his develoment or am I wrong? I know it has ruined his trade value in my pool!

Seems like he has been thrown to the wolves. Will he ever have any fantasy value? Should I cut him loose for next season?

Struggling with two decisions right now as fas as who my keepers will be at the end of the year in my roto league.

Decision #1: James Neal vs Benoit Pouliot
Comparable numbers, opposite seasons. Neal had a red-hot start but has cooled considerably since, while Pouliot has obviously been on fire since landing in Montreal. Is it unreasonable to expect Pouliot to continue performing this way next season? Is he just a product of playing with Gomez and Gionta? I feel like this should be an easy decision, but it's not. At all.

Decision #2: Chris Pronger vs Tobias Enstrom
Two of the top scoring defenders in the league, at opposite ends of the careers. Pronger's still got several years left in him of course, and with the offense he's surrounded with should continue to put up exceptional numbers in Philly. Enstrom is still quite young, which gives him an advantage as a long-term keeper, but will he be able to perform at this level next season without Kovalchuk? His numbers have been average since Kovy left for the Devils, and he's more likely to be a minus player given the team he plays for.

Keep in mind that we get 8 keeper slots and I'm currently only planning on keeping one defenseman. My 6 locks are: H. Sedin, Kovalchuk, J. Carter, Cammalleri, Duchene, Bryzgalov. With the forwards I've already got locked up, might it be better to just keep both defensemen?

Looking ahead to next year, which 5 would you keep on my team?

I'm thinking Getzlaf, Cammalleri, Horton, Ward and Kaberle - or Enstrom?

Heading into my head-to-head playoffs, I'm concerned about my goaltending. I've got Nabby, S. Mason, Price and Varlamov, dress two each week (starts, wins, so, gaa, sv%).

Goalies have been my achilles heel all year. My offense is tops in the league and enough to get me the W more often than not, but it sure would be helpful to win some goalie categories once in awhile.

So my question: is there any reason to believe that one of Mason, Price or Varly will step it up significantly over the next 4 weeks? If so, which one? Or am I destined to live and die by my offense? Thanks for your input!

Points-only, which two to start this week:
- Sharp: @ANA / @LA / @PHO
- Fleischmann: @FLA / @CAR / @TB
- Elias: BOS / PIT / @TOR / STL

And which two of:
- Boyes: COL / @NYR / @NJ / NSH
- Giroux: @NSH / @DAL /@ATL / ATL
- Langenbrunner: BOS / PIT / @TOR / STL

Thanks for this. I'd need this in the next few hours (ie by 8:00 ATL / 7:00 ET), so don't sweat it if you can't get to it.

Default Lucic

Hey thanks Angus,

My leagues setup is Head to Head and counts most stats on a point basis.
G = 3pts or 5pts for a D
A = 2pts or 3pts for a D
+/- = 1pts
blocked shot = .5pts
HITS = .5 pts
pim = .25pts
Face off = .1pts

so basically hits and pim are valuable in this format. Backes is a monster in this format as he plays wing, gets a ton of hits, fair share of FOW and enough points. Downie is good as well. My question is will Lucic be worth keeping and be fantasy worthy?

Other players I could pick up are - I don't need any specific positions filled although because of faceoffs and Defense points, center and D are generally preferable.

Latendress(W)
Turris (C)
Hodgson (C)
Grachev (C)
B Schenn (C)
S gagner (C)
E Fehr (W)
Shattenkirk, Franson (D)

There's a lot of talk about a bunch of these prospects and I'm wondering if I should grab any of them now. I have enough room on my bench that I can sit on a player for a year or two so that isn't a problem. Just don't want to drop Lucic if he has the potential to consistently put up points

Thanks very much
cheers
