Default Still can\'t free up Avery...need a roster slot...

I\'ve been trying to trade a LW for a RW so I can drop Vyborny and put Avery back in my lineup. I\'ve offered either of Ponikarovsky or Vermette for either of Doan or Kovalev, but they didn\'t bite.

I hate having Avery get 5P in 5G while he\'s in my IR slot. I get the feeling that nobody\'s is going to give me anything better than Vyborny, even though Poni and Vermette are \"ranked\" fairly high right now.

Should I just drop Vyborny and deal with my LW-RW imbalance later?

If the consensus is that I won\'t be able to get anyone better than Vyborny via trade for Poni or Vermette, maybe I should just drop one of them to keep a LW-RW balance. I guess my next question is - which of those 2 should I drop?

FHCFL2 - New York Rangers - 10 team H2H Keeper - G,A,+/-,PIM,PPP,SOG --- W,GAA,SV%,SHO
C - Drury*, Gomez*, Kopitar
LW - Shanahan*, D. Sedin, Ponikarovsky
RW - Jagr*, Gaborik, Vyborny
D - Visnovsky, Bouwmeester, Burns, Phillips
Util - Knuble (RW)
G - Lundqvist*, Toskala
Bench - Legwand(C), Lang(C), Cullen(C), Vermette(C,LW), LaBarbera(G), Thomas(G)
IR - Clowe(LW), Weber(D), Avery(LW)*

Prospects - Turris(C - Pho), Oshie(C - StL), Brassard(C - Clb), Sheppard(C - Min), Cherapanov(RW - NYR)*, Callahan(RW - NYR)*, Bourett(RW - NYR)*, Giroux(RW - Phi), Staal(D - NYR)*, Montoya(G - NYR)*

*Must have at least 6 players from your NHL franchise (NYR) on your active roster at all times. Must have 5 prospects (played 30 or less NHL games) on your prospect roster at all times. Keep 10 players total at years end (that includes the 10 NYR keepers). Keep all \"prospects\", unless they have reached 30 NHL games played.

I think I\'m leaning towards dropping Ponikarovsky. With a bunch of Leafs returning from injury/suspension, I can see his ice time (especially on line #1 and the PP) go down significantly...

Anyone agree/disagree with me?

Drop Ponikarovsky, no question. Why would you drop Vyborny over him? A poor start aside...he is far better than those two other guys. You wasted five games of Avery...just to hang onto Poni and/or Vermette? I would have dropped one of those guys (flip a coin) right away.
